About Us

On January 1, 2018, Eric and Sara Ericson took over ownership of the grocery store in Pepin, WI. They changed the name from Paul and Fran’s Grocery to E & S Fresh Market. The store was purchased from Sara’s parents Paul and Fran Riesgraf who had owned the store for 21 years. Eric and Sara are looking forward to serving the Pepin community and continuing the family business.

Eric has been a resident of Pepin his whole life. He grew up on a dairy farm and started working for Paul and Fran in 2007 with the intention of buying the store in the future. Sara also spent most of her life in the Pepin community. She graduated with her BSN from UW-Madison and has been an RN at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN since 2007. She will continue to do nursing as well as helping out at the store when her schedule allows. Eric and Sara have 2 young boys who attend Pepin Elementary. The boys are very excited to “work” at the store so you may see them when you stop in.
